Hello, Datagram. Sorry to bother you. I'd like some advice. I have made an Apophysis flame, using "Bubble" as the (Fx) Final Transform. What I'd like to do is make a script to move this final transform, so I can render a series of images in order to stitch them together into an animation.

I have read through your tutorial and can't find an instruction relating to moving a final transform. Does this mean that it's not possible to do?

Again, sorry to bother you, but TIA (if you have the time),

Ian

PS - would appreciate some feedback on some of my pictures or animations if you have the time, and the Llama is for the excellent tutorial.
Hi, If you're still trying to do this I can help, if you mean just rotating the Fx it's fairly easy, here's how to do it (I used the default animation script as the basis), using a 3 transform fractal (3 + the FX):

{ Rotates the reference triangle continuously }
{ Hit any key to stop }
Flame.SampleDensity := 1;
while not Stopped do
begin
SetActiveTransform (3);
Rotate (3.6);
Preview;
end;

Apo counts from 0 so I set 3 as the active transform here (which was the Fx), next line rotates it x degrees, preview shows the preview window, so to activate the FX you set the script to the last numbered transform in the editor,
ie: 1,2,3,+FX set the active transform to 3 to activate the FX in the script.

1,2,3,4,+FX, set the active transform to 4 (apo counts it like 0,1,2,3,4), and so on
thanks for the fav on Flowers!
thanks for the fav.. :-)
